Haversack: This should be natural linen or canvas, 12" to 12" square With three pewter buttons. (Cotton Duct Canvas in Off White), Or (Cotton Linen Duct) in Just off White, or (Heavy Fustian),
Bleached white equipment is hard to keep clean and sticks out like a sore thumb
Things you will need
Off White Heavy Cotton thread
Good Pair of sharp scissors
30 or so straight pins

I find one at My Buddy Greg's Sutler "Weeping Heart" that is two inches two big all the way around.

HAVERSACK - Heavy Fustian, 14” x 15”, closes with 3 pewter buttons. Buttonholes
